For the challenge this week, I had to make a card using at least one Papertrey product and white on white die cuts with a pop of color.
Here's what I came up with!
And because I like this technique so much, I tried it using black card stock!
Supplies:
Life is
Beautiful Stamp Set – inside small butterfly stamp, “Do beautiful things
with your” stamp
Life
is Beautiful Die Collection (set of 2) – both small butterfly dies
BirthdayClassics: May Mini Stamp Set - Birthday stamp
PapertreyInk - Birthday Trio Die Collection (set of 3) Die B (all caps)
Book Club Stamp
Set – “Wishing you a happy day” stamp
Tim Holtz mini inkers in: Salty
Ocean, Mustard
Seed, and Brick
great cards, all three!! i was wondering if anyone one would do a color on color like your black one - very cool! thanks for playing!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lexi! I love the black one - it just didn't really photograph very well. This technique has really open the creative flood gates!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cards- I'm especially fond of that butterfly one- love a little sparkle
ReplyDeleteThanks Tracy - that was fun to make - but glitter went EVERYWHERE!!! The person that I'm sending it to will love it :) Glitter is so fun but nasty to work with! I usually use an embossing powder with the glitter already in it, but didn't have the color I needed for the card.
DeleteBeautiful cards! Your sparkly pink in the butterfly really pops and is very eye catching! Well done!! :0)
