Blessed Pumpkin Chalkboard Frame

I have to admit it, I created this picture frame with this photo in mind. Sometimes that just how my creativity comes to me, but it's a darling picture all the same!

This listing is for a 4'x6' wooden picture frame that has been painted with black chalkboard paint and embellished with hand stamped/embossed pumpkins that are hand painted with watercolor paint. The wooden dow is removable and the frame can be positioned either horizontally or vertically. The finish frame measures a total of 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" and 3/8" thick.

Each card features a set of three hand painted watercolor pumpkins and an orange die cut word ("thankful", "blessed", and "grateful") on white card stock that has been embossed with a trellis background.

More Letterpress Note Cards Coming Soon!

I was having a lot of fun playing with my letterpress kit over the past couple of weeks. I LOVE this technique and can't wait to play around with it some more. The ink is pressed into the paper causing a slight embossed impression.  

I will say, it's very messy.  My kit came with some special wipes to use, but I quickly went through them.  A quick Google search told me to try Goo-Gone.  Worked like a charm! 

Anytime I work with messy inks, I cover my table with a vinyl table clothe.  You can never be too careful!

Currently, I'm waiting on my new machine and letterpress to come in before I'm back in production with these cards.  But if you're in Madison, NC, stop by Eclectic Calico!  Jennifer currently has my only stock of these cards!

Hedgehog Love!

Yesterday, I showed you Hedgehog OPPS! (I hope you had a chance to comment to win a set of cards!) Today, I wanted to show you the completed card, error free!

I love these cards - they are so adorable!  They are hand painted with watercolors and the red heart is glitter.  Of course, I had to use glitter.  They are set on white textured card stock and open from bottom to top. The inside is blank.

Then I was inspired by my friend Keith to make the Hedgehog Merci cards.  Keith is a high school French teacher, so they just seem to fit!.  The hedgehogs are hand painted with watercolors and cut out.  And of course, the heart is red glitter (I'm just in a glitter inspired mood).  The hedgehogs are set on kraft card stock and open from the side.  The inside is blank.
